The FHC Parenting Education Program at Newburyport Hope Community Church,
11 Hale Street, Newburyport

A BLENDED APPROACH (ONLINE & CLASSROOM) This program, approved by the Court, provides an innovative alternative to the traditional 5 hour classroom parenting education programs required of divorcing parents. The program offers parents the option of viewing a video of approximately 90 minutes online and then participating in a three hour classroom session.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE COURT DOES NOT ALLOW BOTH PARENTS TO ATTEND THE SAME SESSION.

Important Information:

Each parent must view the video and attend the classroom session to obtain the certificate of completion for the Court
Both parents may not attend sessions at the same time together
Children may not accompany parents

Registration Information:

Registration may be completed online. GO TO THE ONLINE/CLASSROOM TAB TO REGISTER. All registration will be completed, on a space available basis, by submitting the tuition fee at the door.

Registration Fee:  $80 per person (includes access to the video and the 3 hour classroom session). Payable by cash or money order (to "Family Healthy Choices, Inc."). No personal checks are accepted.

In special circumstances if the Court has provided a waiver, the $5 fee must be received along with the Court-approved waiver document at the time of the registration.

How do I register?
Pre-Register Online: Complete and submit the registration on the ONLINE/CLASSROOM tab you will find at the top of this page. You will be sent a confirmation of your registration by e-mail or mail.  Provide your confirmation and full registration payment to the on-site coordinator at the time of the classroom session.

Classes are held at the Hope Community Church, 11 Hale Street in Newburyport, MA 01950

Directions:

Take I-95 to Exit 57 (Rte. 113/Newburyport). Turn onto Route 113 East (Storey Ave). Take the first right onto Low Street. Continue on Low Street to the first stoplight at Hale Street. Turn right onto Hale Street. The church is one block down on your left.
